This savory, full-bodied, earthy blend offers complex red and black fruits intermixed with notes of dried earth, asphalt, baking chocolate, and spice. It has terrific balance and is going to evolve for 10-15 years.”

Vineyard, Jack’s Vineyard:

(75% Cabernet Sauvignon & 25% Syrah)
Stony, ancient riverbed, located on the floor of the Walla Walla Valley. Very cobbly, Freewater, loam-cobbles over gravel over sand, dried riverbed. In the rocky soils of this part of the valley, low vigor keeps flavors concentrated. Planted in 1999.
